By Day: During the workweek, Justin Cooper is an Inside Sales Mortgage Consultant for Norcom Mortgage. He spends his time answering calls and emails from people who are looking to work directly with Norcom in order to purchase a home or refinance an existing mortgage. Justin works with many borrowers to see their files make it to closing as quickly as possible, and helps to prepare many individuals for purchasing a home in the future if they aren’t ready just yet. Justin enjoys working at Norcom because he says, “Norcom is like having an all-star baseball team all under the same roof. You have the confidence that no matter where your file is, it is in good hands.” He loves how everyone at Norcom is approachable, and how everyone genuinely cares about getting the job done for the borrower.

By Night: Most weeknights, Justin spends time with his wife and two children, Gracie and Rachel, at home. When he is not at home, he stays busy practicing Karate or playing Softball with the “prestigious” Norcom softball team. He also enjoys watching a lot of movies, as well as traveling to Mystic Aquarium with his family. Justin has many hobbies that allow him to be creative, including listening to music, drawing, painting, reading, and playing guitar. Currently, Justin is learning to play the bass guitar. Martial arts is another hobby of Justin’s that is very important to him. He has studied Karate, Jui Jitsu, Tai Chi, Muy Tai, and boxing. Among his many talents, most people don’t realize that Justin is actually a trivia whiz. At home, he is no longer allowed to play Trivial Pursuit as a result. Justin is a mountain of arbitrary knowledge, especially if it relates to a movie or TV show.

By Day: Here at Norcom, Robert works as a Marketing Coordinator. He stays busy by coming up with new ideas in order to help promote and strengthen the Norcom Mortgage and Insurance brand. He also helps manage tradeshows, direct mailings, email marketing campaigns, social media presentations, and ordering promotional items for the retail, wholesale, and correspondent departments. He works closely with all the departments at Norcom and enjoys all the people he works with, especially the marketing team. He has been working at Norcom for almost a year now, but plans on working here for many more years to come and aspires to continue to grow with the company.

By Night: After a busy day at work, Robert goes straight to the gym, heads back home for dinner, and then he is off to bed. On Thursday’s, however, it’s guy’s night for Robert and he gets together with his close guy friends for some pizza or grinders. Together they hang out, watch sports, and discuss their weekend plans. In Roberts’s free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family, going to the gym, and playing in various sports leagues. Robert also likes to attend various college and professional sporting events for fun. Something that most people don’t know about Robert is that he has a twin brother named Justin.

By Day: During the weekday, Jenerice is a Quality Assurance Underwriter for Norcom. She stays very busy as she performs pre-funding audits for compliance accuracy and credit worthiness. Jenerice works with investors regarding purchase requests and analyzes file quality and production trends. She also assists in researching and responding to investor or agency regulatory audits. It’s a hectic job, to say the least, since everyone constantly emails, calls, or stops by, but she manages to do it all with a big smile on her face. Jenerice enjoys the challenges she faces everyday and the great people she works with. She loves the family environment here at Norcom and looks forward to coming to work each and every day.

By Night: Before heading home for the evening, Jenerice heads to the gym for an intense workout, or attends a yoga class with a few coworkers. After that, she heads home to cook a nice dinner for her family. Following dinner, Jenerice might catch up on the news and some of her favorite primetime shows, or she might work on a file or two, if necessary. In her free time, she enjoys long walks, reading, volunteering in her community, cooking, catching up with a few companies she usually trades with, or spending quality time with her family. For fun, Jenerice spends her time traveling, hiking, hanging out with friends and family, or visiting her husband at his various job sites. Jenerice’s husband is the most important person in her life. Many people don’t know that Jenerice actually is very handy and likes to build. She can frame walls, sheetrock, tile, work with electrical and plumbing, and she can also build a computer from the ground up. She is a bit techy to say the least!

By Day: Here at Norcom, Jeremy is our General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. He starts his day with some colorful socks, lots of coffee, throws his schedule out the window by 9:30 AM, and continues to work while always having a smile on his face. Jeremy interacts with all the different departments at Norcom and sees many different employees throughout the day. He enjoys working closely with everyone from Norcom, and says, “They represent genuine, hard-working people in an industry that supports our communities and our country.” Jeremy sees working with the people of Norcom as the most positive part of his job and of his day.

By Night: Once Jeremy has completed his day at the office, he tries to fit the gym in before going home and spending time with his daughter, Tessa, until it is time for her bath. After Tessa’s bedtime he enjoys dinner with his wife, Meredith, and then settles in for some T.V. or a book prior to knocking out some emails or articles. Jeremy’s wife, Meredith, plays a very important role in his life. Jeremy says, “She is my compass. She keeps me grounded, facing the right direction and always headed north.” As a homeowner, Jeremy spends much of his free time working on his house. When he is not spending time on his house, he takes Tess for walks or keeps up with the news, politics and current events, including his favorite sports teams.  For fun, Jeremy likes to relax with friends and family, run road races or obstacle courses, and travel with his family to towns like Burlington and Portsmouth. Something most people don’t know about Jeremy is that he is mildly obsessed with celebrities. He loves celebrity sightings, gossip, and their lifestyle, the whole thing.

By Day: Lydia Murphy is our Accounting Specialist, here at the Norcom Avon office. Her days are always changing because she deals with a little bit of everything including, working with 28 different Norcom branches. She is constantly dealing with invoices, checking accounts, payroll requests, fee sheets and any last minute things that may come up. She is constantly staying busy because she works closely with everyone in the office. Since she is a people person, she loves the relationships she has with everyone here at Norcom. She especially loves when the whole company gets together, so she can get to know everyone a little bit better.

By Night: When Lydia is not working at Norcom, she is a dedicated mother to her 3 young children, Brennan, Elena, and Adam. After work, she helps her children with their homework, prepares dinner with the help of her daughter, who loves to cook, and then gets her children ready for bed. Her two youngest children play basketball for Avon, so she squeezes that into her schedule as well. Her free time consists of household chores, visiting her family, and relaxing while watching her children play together. For fun, Lydia enjoys going to sporting events, going out to eat, going to comedy clubs, and having day trips with her kids. Lydia says the reason she is such a great mom is because of her own mother. Her mother is the most important person in her life, because she taught her everything she knows and is still teaching her. Most people don’t know that Lydia was actually born in Montes la Jolie, France and came to America when she was five months old. Her first language was Bosnian, but she forgot most of the language when she started school. Lydia has also lived in Istanbul, Turkey for a year, and her real name is Ilirije. Her first grade teacher could not pronounce her real name, so she called her Lydia, and it stuck with her ever since.
